server down the last few days.. it always puts things on hold. i'm waiting for responses from email i sent out last week, and don't want to send out any messages. steev is in south america.. hopefully, though, one of his helpers will get it back up soon. i may have to start using my yahoo account.

the last week has been hectic w/ family visiting. packaged a bunch of Girl Talk cds w/ elll. it's amazing to see 100 of them all together w/ his face peering at you. official release on jan. 5th? i keep listening to matmos' civil war. i'm not 100% convinced, but parts are very attractive. i also went back to the o superman remixes. the breakbeat mixes bore me, but i love Danny de Graan's mix. it's rather ominous. the synthetic voice seems to be the same as on one of Christopher Penrose's as-yet-unrleased tracks.

played live as hh at the phoenix gallery last night. stefen did a great set cut off by his computer crashing. i played a 20 min. solo set and i think it went well. the last hour, though, w/ all 3 of us playing was fun but a bit of a mess. listening to OCDJ on wfmu.
